FAQs
1. What is Radical Rhythms coaching?
Radical Rhythms Coaching (RR Coaching) is an innovative methodology that amalgamates a body-centered somatic approach and uninhibited creative expression. This methodology guides you to access greater self-awareness, attune to your inner voice and achieve deep personal transformation. It integrates movement, breath, sensation, and creative processes to help you shift patterns, manage stress, align with your highest values and curate the life you desire.
2. How is somatic coaching different from traditional coaching or therapy?
While traditional coaching focuses on cognitive strategies and goal setting, somatic coaching focuses on the wisdom of the body. We work with the nervous system, physical sensations, and embodied practices to support deeper, sustainable transformation. Somatic coaching is not therapy, but it can be deeply therapeutic.
3. Who would benefit most from Radical Rhythms Coaching?
RR Coaching can support people who struggle with:
-
Stress and anxiety regulation
-
Confidence and self-expression
-
Navigating transitions or burnout
-
Building emotional resilience
-
Healing from trauma (non-clinically)
-
Improving relationships and boundaries
-
Embodying leadership and purpose
4. What happens in a one to one coaching session?
Sessions may include guided awareness, breathwork, movement, visualization, reflective conversation, writing, drawing and more. You'll learn to track sensations, patterns, and postures that arise in response to life situations—and shift them with intention. Every session is co-created to your needs and comfort level.
5. What happens in a group coaching session?
Online group coaching sessions are structured similarly to one to one sessions but will also include supportive group discussions and specific targeted activities to which cover the weekly/monthly focus.
In person group coaching sessions will include some of the same elements as the one to one sessions but will also include a lot more interactive activities such as movements practises and creative activities.
6. Do I need any experience with mindfulness, meditation, or bodywork?
No prior experience is needed! RR coaching is accessible to everyone. I meet you exactly where you are and support you at your own pace.
7. Can Radical Rhythms Coaching help with trauma?
Yes, many clients come to RR coaching for trauma-informed support. While we do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, somatic work can help you gently reconnect with your body and build tools for regulation and safety. If needed, we may collaborate with licensed therapists.
8. How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals. Some clients benefit from just a few sessions for a specific issue, while others choose ongoing coaching to support long-term transformation. We'll co-create a plan that works for you.
9. Is this done in person or online?
I offer both! RR coaching can be just as effective online via Zoom or similar platforms. In-person sessions may be available depending on your location and my availability.
